till 29th FebColourful Dreams is an exhibition of paintings created by a selection of Tutti Visual Artists, which explores the theme of Abstraction.

Artist Tim Cannell creates layered complex structures with rich colour combinations. Recently listed by Peter Goers as South Australia's best abstract painter, Tim's paintings present a balance between careful composition and spontaneous brushwork.

Charlie Taplin's paintings explore natural and geometric forms revealing layers of vibrant and luminous colour on a multitude of transparent planes.

Tessa Crathern, whose work captures colour and shape through repeated patterns, is inspired by stained glass windows.

Each artist is part of the Tutti Visual Arts and Design Program, which aims to support the development of emerging learning disabled artists and promote their talent to the wider community and arts market.

Colourful Dreams offers a rare glimpse into the unique and alternative worlds of these talented young artists.

10th March Cinema Under the Stars in 3-D with Live Entertainment COLOURS OF AUSTRALIA - 3D Cinema Outdoors - Inaugural Event and re-introducing Laura Hill & The Tuesday Bandits.

11th MarASICS Victor Harbor Triathlons and Fun Run-Walk: is held every March long weekend and caters for every member of the family.

There is a calm inland seawater lake for swimming, roads fully closed to motorist for safe cycling, and quiet streets lined with spectators cheering all participants.

There are four events starting with a fun short triathlon for beginners, Olympic triathlon for the super fit and others looking for a challenge, a five kilometre fun walk, and a mini triathlon for children.

27th April Tasting Australia Associated Event - Two’s Company - Justin North: ‘Two’s Company’ is a series of dinners held at The Kitchen Door at Penny’s Hill and Mr. Riggs Cellars with Chef Ben Sommariva and guest Chef’s from Australia and beyond.

As part of Tasting Australia 2012 Justin North from the acclaimed ‘Becasse’ New South Wales, will join Ben at the stove on Friday 27 April. Ben and Justin share a passion for sourcing food from the best regional producers and this will be the focus in the shared five course menu matched with current and museum Penny’s Hill and Mr. Riggs wines.
27th April 2012 marks the 100 year anniversary of the family owned McLaren Vale winery, d'Arenberg. Join the celebrations with a degustation hosted by third generation d'Arry Osborn (a veteran of 69 consecutive vintages) accompanied by renowned wine journalist Ralph Kyte-Powell. Head chef Peter Reschke will create a menu of seasonal and regional produce matched to a range of current and back vintage d'Arenberg wines.

30th AprilTasting Australia Associated Event - Bracegirdles Chocolate and Wine Appreciation course: Experience the taste of Belgian chocolate with matching award winning wines.

Appreciate the taste that single origin chocolate can bring to the different varieties of wine. Different cocoa beans and wine will produce different results.

Remember there is no right or wrong in this adventure it is all about personal taste and how it develops. The important thing is to understand what you do and don’t like in chocolate and wine.

5th - 6th May Coriole Music Festival 2012 You will experience seldom played musical masterpieces at the 2012 Coriole Music Festival; a weekend of fine music, food and wine in the beautiful McLaren Vale winery region of South Australia.

Performed in Coriole’s acoustically superb Barrel Room, the 14th Coriole Music Festival will bring together some of the finest chamber musicians from around Australia to present a fascinating exploration of the development and influence of Italian music.

Selected by Music Director, Professor Christopher Burrell, the program will focus on Italian music from the Renaissance onwards, and the sweeping changes in violin playing and writing from the 16th century through to modern times.

After each of the concerts you can get to know the musicians over Coriole’s own highly awarded wines and an Italian inspired meal featuring local South Australian produce prepared by Tina Llewellyn from The Rolling Pin.

26th - 28th May Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally Enjoy the thrill of rally racing through the Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula.

From dedicated tarmac rally machines and home-grown rally cars to thoroughbred beauties, classic and modern. See them all on the road during the Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally.

The first day competitors start in the Adelaide Hills and race towards Penny’s Hill Winery at McLaren Vale, where they finish for the day.

The second day South Australian Rally Championship competitors join the race for the competitive stages from Willunga to Victor Harbour. There are service stops at Penny’s Hill Winery and the Victor Harbor Foreshore, great spots to watch from!

The final day is stages from Strathalbyn to Onkaparinga Hills, with service stops at Penny's Hill Winery and Macclesfield.

Get a spot at designated spectator points and service parks throughout the event.

2012 dates are to be announced. Locations and times are available online and attendance is free
10th - 111 June Sea & Vines Festival Come to the annual Sea and Vines Festival in McLaren Vale. This event celebrates this renowned wine district of McLaren Vale.

Take it at your own pace. Venues cater to your style; party place, easy-going or a little bit special. Whatever you desire, South Australia's premier chefs and restaurants will feed your senses. Local wineries will share their cellar doors, wines and stories with you.

McLaren Vale venues offer a specially created seafood meal. If seafood isn't for you there are plenty of non-seafood, children's and vegetarian dishes.
